David has over 14 years’ technology investment banking and corporate finance expertise. He is an expert in selling and fundraising for technology and tech-enabled companies, with specialisms in RegTech; Governance, Risk & Compliance; HealthTech; Workforce & Logistics and FinOps.

Recent transactions include: fundraising for leading GRC financial regulatory platform; the carve out and asset sale of a patient communications business from Jayex (XASX: JTL) to Vitalhub (XTSE: VHI) and the sale of IOT analytics platform Omnio to IBM (NYSE: IBM).

Prior to joining ICON, David worked at Goldman Sachs and Evercore, before focusing on advising mid-market and founder-led tech businesses. He most recently ran his own investment boutique, Growth Tech Global, building, advising and investing in a portfolio of software and tech-enabled companies.

Having read Physical Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, David trained and qualified as a fundraising lawyer at Linklaters before moving to investment banking. Outside of work, David both plays and referees football. He lives with his family in South East London.
