Ben Kolada

Director & Head of US Tech Investment Banking

A former research analyst at enterprise technology analyst firm 451 Research, Ben brings a rare depth of knowledge and understanding of the US and West Coast tech markets. Borrowing from his time at 451 Research, he takes a proactive and deep sector expertise approach to uncovering and opening M&A and capital raising opportunities for his clients.

Ben's sector expertise includes AI & Data Technologies & DeepTech enterprise software, about which he publishes regular industry analysis. He is an expert in US & international M&A & fundraising and strategic business development.

Prior to ICON, Ben was an independent corporate development consultant. Before that, he was a VP at a San Francisco-based technology investment bank.

Ben holds a BA in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.

Outside of work, Ben is an outdoor enthusiast - hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim during the hottest time of the year.
