Alan Bristow

Founder, CEO

Alan is the founder and managing director of ICON Corporate Finance.

He is recognised as one of the country’s leading corporate finance advisers and has over 25 years of combined fund raising and M&A experience. Throughout this period Alan has dealt with some of the world’s leading investors and technology companies.

He is a frequent speaker and author on venture capital fundraising and selling companies.

Alan's an expert in all aspects of raising venture, including capital management buy-outs, acquisitions and corporate sales. He has advised on over 200 transactions.

Before establishing ICON, Alan spent his formative years in the City of London before joining Price Waterhouse in Melbourne. He worked as the Finance Director for an Australian Investment Group, prior to returning to the UK and establishing ICON as a leading M&A house to the tech sector.

Alan holds a degree in Economics and Politics and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
